From Salzburg Airport (SZG): Distance to the Sheraton Salzburg Hotel is three kilometres, approximately 15 minutes' drive.

Getting there. The number 2 bus runs between the airport and Salzburg's main train station (Hauptbahnhof) every 10 minutes. Single tickets cost 1.80 EUR. There are buses to Bavaria and Tyrol. Taxis to the city centre cost about 15 EUR. Prices are all subject to change.

Getting around. The Sheraton Salzburg Hotel is 800 metres from the Old Town. Salzburg's city centre is best explored on foot. The city is served by an inexpensive tram and bus system, and there are numerous cycle paths. Driving is not advised for visitors, and cars are not allowed in some areas of the Old Town. Onsite parking is available (surcharge).

Driving directions. Turn right into Innsbrucker Bundestrasse from Salzburg Airport, and head towards the city centre/Zentrum.
At the first junction turn right into Maxglaner Hauptsrasse, which turns into Neutorstrasse.
Turn left after the Neutor tunnel and proceed until the Staatsbruecke bridge on the left.
Proceed over the bridge, then turn left.
Take the third road on the right, Auerspergstrasse, where the Sheraton Salzburg Hotel is situated.
