The Hotel Caribe in Cartagena, Colombia, is located on the beach facing the open sea. The resort is one of the symbols of Colombian hotel tradition, and was built in the late 1930s and renovated in 1996 with modern amenities. The hotel has three neoclassical-style buildings situated on 400,000 square feet of landscape complete with exotic trees, tropical gardens and open water.
