Menu highlights include King Canyon Bison, American Kobe-Beef and Butter Poached Maine Lobster. Rare premium spirits and more than 60 types of cigars, including pre embargo Cubans, are available at the Churchill Bar. Wednesdays through Saturdays, live entertainment is showcased at the casual Ship Tavern. Ellyngton's features a champagne Sunday Brunch and the Atrium Lobby hosts formal afternoon teas and nightly piano music beneath its namesake stained-glass canopy. The hotel features conference rooms, a business center and complimentary wireless Internet access throughout the property. Specialty treatments at the Spa at the Brown Palace incorporate the natural artisan waters flowing from a well 750 feet beneath the hotel. Menu items include the Artesian Plunge Soak, Brown Sugar Scrub and the Mountain High, Ocean Deep facial treatment. A fitness facility provides weight training- and cardiovascular equipment.
Guestrooms. With ornamentation evocative of the Victorian and Art Deco periods, the 241 guestrooms and suites host mahogany stained furnishings, almond-hued walls and decor in rose, cream and peach. Amenities include goose down comforters, upholstered ottomans and complimentary bottled artisan water. Bathrooms contain separate bathtubs and glass-enclosed showers, designer toiletries and terry bathrobes.
